This residential client was looking to transform an older property from the inside out to express their modern, artistic style with warmth and flow.

It was their vision to achieve a look that celebrated their love of both Brazilian and European cultures. It was so much fun bringing their full vision into reality.

First, we remodeled the entire exterior of the home. Every single detail was considered from the garage doors to new plants. We focused on the entryway to create a more welcoming and open experience.

We then gave the entire property a facelift, including paint, lighting, windows, bbq area, deck, and landscaping.

Next we finished the basement with a goal of creating multiple fun and functional spaces. The client wanted to be able to not only entertain with a family room, bar, and game area, but to also use the space as a shop, gym, and an office space. We were able to fit all of their needs with a stylish and modern flair.

The final stage of this project included an entire first floor refresh. One of my favorite transformations was enhancing the flow of the space by opening the kitchen to integrate all of the spaces together.

We chose to partially open the dining room to maintain privacy while including the space into the overall new design. While we updated many of the home’s features, like window treatments, paint, lighting, and other details with modern details, we also respected the beauty and quality of the original wooden bookshelf. We added warmth and coziness without heaviness by incorporating their art collection and Brazilian flair.
