Renovations are always a joy, especially when the goal is to turn a house into a dream home.
For this project, we focused on the main level: entryway, living room, kitchen, and (our favorite) the half bath.
The home has a long, narrow footprint, and instead of working against it, we leaned in, celebrating the structure and enhancing its flow. From the moment you walk in, custom cabinetry greets you at the front door, doubling as a stylish mudroom and smart storage for coats, shoes, and daily essentials.
We gave the walls a fresh coat of white to invite in more light, added panel molding for architectural character, painted the stair railing and steps black for contrast, and grounded it all with a bold, modern stair runner.
The living, kitchen, and dining areas are fully integrated, so we created a sophisticated yet cozy environment through layering, natural wood finishes, and unexpected granite choices. Matching chandeliers and a glass divider between the kitchen and living room bring a modern edge and visual cohesion.
The kitchen is a dream. Cabinets, walls, and counters are wrapped in a rich finish, complete with LED lighting for a clean, seamless glow.
And to finish up, the half bath is full of personality, boldness, and intention, because why should a small space play it safe?
This was a pleasure to design, and we couldn’t be happier with the transformation.
